Academy of Versailles

The festival of French baroque music takes place in historical places such as the Lobkowitz Palace, the Rudolfinum, the Baroque Troja Palace and the Church of St. Simon and Judas. The program includes pieces of music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

Human rights film festival

Easter market in Prague

European Film Days

International Book Fair and Literature Festival

Christmas markets

From the beginning of December to the beginning of January the “Vanocni trh” – in English: Christmas markets – with mulled wine, sweet and hearty delicacies and handicrafts take place on the old town market, on the Republic Square and on Wenceslas Square. There is also a petting zoo (on the old town market), an ice rink and Christmas chants.
