Since April 2015, Prague Airport should have been connected to Prague via a metro line. However, the project was delayed. In November 2019, Babis announced the plan to connect the airport directly to Prague by rail. The travel time would be reduced to 25 minutes.

Directions:

To reach the airport from Prague city center, follow the airport signs to Kladno or Slaný. The R1 / R7 motorway can be reached from Bělohorská street. Exit 2 leads directly to the airport.

Transfer between the terminals:

The north terminal is for international and domestic departures / arrivals, while the south terminal is 2 for general and business flights. The transfer between the terminals is done by minibus or taxi. Terminal 3 is for private flights only.

Public transportation

Public transport – street:

Buses, minibuses and charter buses from private coach companies drive to the airport. There are 3 bus stops at the airport: the airport bus stop (Letiste) at Terminal North, the airport administration stop (Teminal Jih) at Terminal South 2 and the Sprava letist stop at Terminal South 1. The minibus stands are in front of the arrival hall.

The following connections exist:

119: Prague Airport – Dejvická (Metro line A) (travel time: 24 mins);

100: Prague Airport – Zličín (metro line B) (journey time: 18 minutes);

179: Prague Airport – Nové Butovice (Metro Line B) (travel time: 45 min.)

Airport Express: Prague Airport – Prague Central Station (metro line C and connections to SC, EC, IC and EN trains) (journey time: 35 minutes). The last continuous bus to the center leaves the airport at 11.40 p.m.

CEDAZ minibuses (internet: www.cedaz.cz) run from 7.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every 30 minutes from the airport to Prague city center.

Taxis are available at the taxi stand in front of the arrival hall (journey time: 20-30 minutes).

Public transport – train:

Bus + subway / train: Bus number 100 runs from Terminal 1 and 2 to Zlicin, station on metro line B (journey time: 18 minutes). Bus No. 119 goes from the airport to Dejvická, the closest metro station to the airport and the terminus of Metro Line A (journey time: 24 minutes). Bus lines 179 and 225 go to the Nové Butovice station on metro line B (journey time: 45 and 53 minutes, respectively). The same ticket can be used to travel to the city center by bus and metro.

The Airport Express runs from both terminals to Holešovice train station, metro line C and SC, EC, IC and EN trains (travel time: 35 minutes).

Facilities in the terminal

Money:

Exchange offices are located in the arrival and departure area of ​​the north terminal. Passengers arriving late at night should change their money before going through customs, as the exchange office in the main hall is often closed at night.

Means of communication:

Hotel telephones and a mobile phone rental service are available in the north terminal. Internet access via W-LAN is available free of charge throughout the airport.

Gastronomy:

Restaurants, club bars, self-service cafeterias, fast food restaurants and cafes are available at the airport. Some offer a 24 hour service.

Shopping:

Duty-free shopping facilities are located in the transit area of ​​the north terminal and in the south terminal 2. There are a total of over 70 shops in Prague Airport.

Luggage:

The parking facilities include both short and long-term parking located in front of the South and North Terminal, and two multi-storey car parks and bus parking. Car park D serves as a long-term parking space.

Parking ticket machines are located in the departure hall of the north terminal; Parking fees should be paid here as there are no facilities at the parking lots.
